Access logs

About 4 minUpdated 2026-10-28

The access log records the time, client IP, domain, path, status code, cache hit or miss and latency of each request. It is the most direct basis for troubleshooting.

Query

Go to Statistics, choose "Sites" as the object and switch to the Logs view. After choosing the time range, filter by domain, status code, client IP, path and more.

Typical troubleshooting:

  1. A visitor can't open the site: search by their IP and see whether the status is 4xx or 5xx.
  2. High origin load: filter requests that missed the cache and see which paths go to the origin.
  3. Suspected attack: aggregate by path or source, then check the attack log for blocks.

Export and download

  • "Export access logs" exports by the current filter.
  • "Log download" generates a log file for download; generated files are deleted automatically after a while.

Each user has a daily limit on log downloads, set by the administrator; 0 means users may not download.

Retention

Access logs are kept for a limited number of days, set by the administrator; older logs can't be queried.

Caution When log volume is too large, sampling kicks in and the related reports are incomplete. The panel shows a notice, and sampling stops automatically once it recovers.

The trends you see in logs are summarized as charts in Statistics.
